You'll find USB mobile charging points in your accommodation, along with the large amenity block with communal toilets and water-conserving push button taps, otherwise known as the ‘The Chicken Shed'.
The two canvas-covered Yurts, named ‘Daisy' and ‘Poppy', are 16' in diameter and framed with natural wood and a wildlife meadow. Inside you'll discover a comfy duvet-dressed double bed and an authentic log-burning stove that's perfect for snuggling beside with a glass of your favourite tipple.
A table and chairs provides the ideal setting for coffee and conversation, and on finer evenings accompanied by twinkling stars and orange sunsets, the decking with its bistro table and lovers seating is a true sanctuary.
‘Bluebell Log Cabin' is constructed from insulated solid timber with double glazing throughout, overlooks the tranquil lake and is a perfect hideaway at any time of year. It is equipped with its own eco-toilet, a log-burning stove and a sumptuous king sized bed, and you'll soon find you have all you need for a break to really remember. Why not enjoy the sunshine from your covered decking with its double rocking chair - don't forget to pack a bottle or two of bubbles!
‘Rose Gypsy Wagon' is a beautiful, 100 year-old bow-top wagon that has been carefully restored to provide a comfortably quirky setting for a romantic stay. The feature stained-glass window floods light and colour inside, where you'll find a cosy double-bed and a unique Queen Anne coal-burning stove to give a dreamy sense of opulence.
The aforementioned friendly Chicken Shed is home to a well-equipped communal kitchen, toilets and warming showers, all handily situated less than 50 metres from each accommodation and equipped with automatic lighting...nature-inspired glamping surely doesn't come much more luxurious than this?
By day, you may want absolutely nothing other than to sit and enjoy the enchanting tranquility of Acorn Glade, or watch the delightful array of birds and dragonflies as they come and go. Perhaps you'd prefer fishing in the lake, or taking a stroll around the local area? Charming Pocklington Canal is less than a mile away where you can take a ride on the New Horizons narrow boat (Sundays and Bank Holidays only).
The historic market town of Pocklington itself is well worth a visit, with its weekly market bursting with fresh local produce and a tempting selection of independent shops to explore.
