Amber's Bell Tents Wiveton Hall
You'll find Wiveton Hall, home to Amber's Bell Tent Camping Site, perfectly situated on the idyllic North Norfolk Coast, between Blakeney and Cley-next-the-sea. A beautiful 17th century Jacobean manor house and working farm, its atmospheric grounds are a treasure trove of interest and activity, including some of the most stunning gardens you'll see, a pick-your-own fruit farm, a popular gourmet café serving seasonal food, and a calendar of thriving exhibitions and events.
So it goes to follow that a stay in Amber's Bell Tents, made from breathable natural cotton and equipped with all you need for a camping experience with added style and comfort, will be rather special indeed!
Just like Amber's sister site at nearby Mannington Hall, you'll have easy access to showers and toilets on site, and you'll find your five-metre deluxe bell tent, each one accommodating up to five people, fully furnished with ‘proper' beds (one double and up to three single camp beds), all dressed with cosy duvets, sheets and pillows for you to snuggle up softly.
Night-lighting is provided by soft glowing lanterns, while a wood burning stove will keep everybody toasty. A kitchen box housing cooking and dining equipment takes all the stress out of preparing al-fresco meals to enjoy at your picnic table, with fresh and invigorating country views all around...what could possibly be better?
Well, how about a firepit for a spot of marshmallow toasting? Tune your voice for campfire songs under the awning as you watch the first of the stars appearing in the night sky, and listen to the fire crackle with warmth as you reconnect with your loved ones over a glass or two of your favourite tipple.
After a sound sleep and a heartily sizzling open-air breakfast, how about some local exploration and adventure? The camping field at Wiveton Hall is the perfect place for den building and games to be enjoyed by kids of all ages (big kids included!) A stroll around the gardens will satisfy lovers of beauty and nature, while the on-site shop is packed with local delights and camping essentials.
Walking on the bracing North Norfolk coastline is a real pleasure to be savoured, and when you return, how about a delicious meal at the Wiveton Hall Café, prepared from locally-sourced seasonal ingredients? Enjoy seriously stunning views across the marshes and out to sea as you enjoy fine food, surrounded by sweet-scented fruit from the farm.
Slightly further afield, how about packing up a picnic for a day trip to Cley-next-the-Sea, a scenic village found in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty? You may prefer exploring Broads National Park, and there's no better way to do that than by canoe, kayak or bicycle! The kids are sure to adore The Dinosaur Park and Bewilderwood, an award-winning forest of family adventure including zip wires, treehouses and jungle bridges.
Whether you enjoy relaxation or adventure in the great outdoors, a stay in Amber's Bell Tents truly has it all, with bucketfuls of style and comfort included...so head on down and get set to enjoy a fresh new world of natural luxury!
