These incredible man-made Victorian fortresses rest in the Solent, just off Portsmouth, and have a unique historical significance as important naval World War defences. In 2009 restoration began to transform the forts into this captivating hotel and museum experience.

Climb aboard Spitbank Fort and enter a world of history and sublime intimacy, with just nine luxurious suites decadently furnished and affording views across the Solent.
