You’re guaranteed a warm welcome, not only from the much-loved resident farm animals, but also from Farmer John and Sharon, the farm’s custodians who have lovingly imbued their experience, passion and knowledge into creating an multi-award winning countryside home-from-home you’ll want to return to again and again – and with a full environmental policy and green credentials, you’ll find just as much care is taken with the natural surroundings and local wildlife as it is with your stay.

Perfect for romantic breaks and family getaways alike, there are six nestled cottages for you to choose from, each one incorporating an individually exquisite blend of sumptuous luxury with the invigorating sights, sounds and smells of rural life.

Each cottage ideally located, you’ll find Rabbit’s Warren, Mole’s Hill and Fox’s Den in the field bank, where breathtaking views can be taken in from the relaxation of your cottage.  Hare’s Form can be discovered laying slightly higher nestled on a beautiful banked area, and Badger’s Sett is tucked cosily into the woodland spinney.

Each canvas cottage has been lovingly designed with both comfort and luxury firmly in mind, with leather sofas, cosy armchairs and a wood-burning fire with an oven and stove top…just put the retro kettle on when you arrive and listen to its welcoming whistle, telling you your holiday has begun!

The décor is thoughtful and natural throughout, with soft linen curtains and warm colours that complement the natural surroundings.  You’ll find a well-equipped living area and two bedrooms, with a third hidden away in a secret wooden cabin that the children will adore.

The ensuite bathroom to the rear of each cottage is truly unique to the glamping world in its soothing lavishness, including a roll-top bath, chrome shower and plenty of piping hot water…absolute bliss!

For extra privacy and a touch of sumptuous luxury, Bluebells is a secluded and romantic canvas cottage for two, complete with a veranda and a bubbling wood-fired hot tub. You’ll find plenty of indulgence built into this relaxing, nostalgic country home, including an ensuite with a claw footed, free standing bath and a Victorian chrome fitted shower. Bluebells also comes with its own adjacent treehouse, perfect if you decide to bring the kids along! 

The onsite Old Cow Shed is exclusive to guests, a true treasure trove of goodies and local delicacies just aching to be sampled.  Consisting of a classic old-fashioned English shop complete with wooden till, the store is full of tempting delights including cheeses, cakes and quiches, as well as store cupboard basics.  If you fancy preparing your own meals, the fridge is packed with local sausages, pies and bacon for al-fresco dining at its most glorious.

It’s in the Old Cow Shed that you’ll also find plenty of local information, unique gifts and that traditional holiday favourite…postcards!

With so much natural adventure to be found, there will always be plenty for the children to do, including a games den featuring bales of hay and table tennis, and a bespoke Children’s Summer Camp complete with wigwams.

The Dandelion Hideaway is dog-friendly, and there are plenty of traditional farming activities for you to get involved with and learn more about.  Farmer John and Sharon are always happy to share their experience and knowledge, so why not try grooming the ponies or collecting some fresh eggs throughout your stay?

Further afield, you’ll find plenty of local attractions and a pub within perfect walking distance, for those rare times you try tearing yourself away from your holiday hideaway.

Bedding and towels must be hired locally, pets are permitted only by prior consent only, maximum of 2 per Canvas Cottage, a charge of £20 per pet is applied, no smoking inside accommodation, pricing is either per week or Fri-Mon/Mon-Fri shorter periods, highchairs, cots, mini tractors and fire pits may be pre-booked.
