Big Sky Lodges is a family-run, cherished collection of six stunning Scandinavian lodges, a romantic glamping caravan, and a sumptuous treetop hideaway, perfectly located at Drynie Park on 17 acres of traditional Scottish croft land. Whichever retreat you choose, you’re guaranteed the most magnificent views over gleaming birch woodland and open meadows, with plenty of grazing horses and Highland cattle as your friendly neighbours…the ultimate relaxing and romantic setting to escape from everyday life.

Each Big Sky Lodge has been perfectly crafted from the highest quality sustainable Finnish pine, and boasts its very own individual style and personality. There’s an immediate home-from-home feeling as soon as you step inside, with the perfect blend of contemporary with traditional and featuring unique touches that make your chosen Lodge a very special place. A cosy wood-burning stove will keep you lovely and toasty as you explore the characterful artwork, hand-made accessories and test out the comfortably stylish furniture.

The Lodges each sleep up to six people. Three feature one kingsize bed, one double, and two singles, while the other three feature one kingsize bed and four singles – so you can choose your ideal set-up. You can also expect sociable open-plan living and fully fitted kitchens to prepare a traditionally warming Highlands feast at any time of the day! Relaxation is built right in, whether you’re snuggled into the cosy sofa with a book, or watching the beautiful golden sunset from your veranda – accompanied by a steaming hot toddy, of course.

Each Lodge has its own grassy garden, with a firepit area for marshmallow toasting under the stars, and a gate that leads to some wonderful woodland walks. For an extra-special treat, why not choose a Lodge with its own private balcony and enjoy the beautiful views far and wide whilst watching the birds soaring into the sky?

The bedrooms are made up with fresh Egyptian cotton sheets, with fluffy towels waiting for you in the bathroom…and as you explore your Lodge you’ll discover all kinds of local treats along the way, including luxury fine soaps and toiletries, and tasty nibbles to enjoy with a coffee. There’s free WiFi access, too – so you can make everybody back home jealous with your pictures!

Meanwhile, if you’re holidaying with your loved one, The Hideaway is a gorgeous self-contained glamping caravan for two, soothingly nestled amongst the rowan trees. Here you’ll discover romantic delights that include a vintage walnut bed, a crackling woodburning stove, and plenty of handcrafted detailing. Outside awaits a spectacular ‘suntrap’ decking area, from which you can view the grazing Highland cows.

The newest retreat is The Loft on the Croft, a beautiful bolthole for two.  Lovingly designed and styled by the owners themselves, the self-contained space boasts a stirring Highland outdoor theme, with a hand-made kingsize bed and a cosy wood-burning stove to warm your evenings.  During the day, a row of skylights flood the space with natural light.
